Craig Willson is a Sydney born record producer, artist manager and co-founder of REC Studios.
With a background in electronic music, Willson found early success engineering and performing on recordings with a string of local artists, most notably on Flume’s 2011 breakout EP “Sleepless”. In 2013 when the legendary 301 Castlereagh Street studios re-opened under the new “REC Studios” banner, Willson moved into the indie guitar field, producing a number of singles for indie acts including New Navy and more recently Adelaide dream pop act I Know Leopard on the “Illumina” and “Another Life” EPs, with a string of high rotation FM radio singles.
As a musician he has toured internationally with iconic artists including The Church, Swervedriver’s Adam Franklin, and Emma Louise.
Willson has made a move back his to dance music roots of late, this time in an artist management capacity, developing a small roster of electronic artists including La Mar and Porsches.
